WALK-IN INTERVIEW FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF SENIOR RESIDENTS AND SPECIALIST ON CONTRACT BASIS
A walk-in interview for filling the vacant posts of Specialist, Senior Resident (3 Years), and Senior Resident (1 Year) on a contract basis at ESIC Hospital, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
A walk-in interview will be conducted on the 29/07/2026 (Reporting Time: 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM) and subsequently on 3rd Wednesday of every month. If the 3rd Wednesday happens to be a gazetted holiday, the interview will instead be held on the immediately following Thursday or as notified from time to time. Notices regarding such vacancies shall be published only on the ESIC Headquarters’ official website. No separate advertisements will be issued in newspapers. All updates related to the conduct of these interviews, including schedule and post-wise requirements, will be made available exclusively on the official website: www.esic.gov.in/recruitments
The walk-in interview for the month of July 2026 will be conducted as per following schedule at ESIC Hospital, Tansen Nagar, Gwalior, on 29/07/2026 (Reporting Time: 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM) for the contractual engagement against the following posts:
- Specialist(Full Time and Part Time) (Total posts-17)
- Senior Residents (3 Years) (Total posts-14)
- Senior Residents (1 Year) (Total posts-09)
Interested candidates are requested to appear for the interview as per the schedule given below, with the following:
- Duly filled application in the prescribed format (Annexure ‘A’)
- Application fee (as applicable)
- All relevant original documents and a set of self-attested copies

(i) The Hospital authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies mentioned in this advertisement and to add or remove any post at any stage.
(ii) Reservation of Person with Benchmark Disability (PwD) will be as per prevailing guidelines of Government of India. PwD reservation may be interchanged with other PwD categories, as per the applicable Government of India/DoPT guidelines.

Essential Qualifications: –
A. Senior Resident on contract for one-year and 03 (three) years Under Central Residency Scheme

Should be registered with National Medical Council/ Madhya Pradesh Medical Council. Experience not needed Or *MBBS with two years of experience out of which 1 year of experience in concerned specialty from government or private hospital, (not a private clinic), may be appointed for one year as Senior Resident on contract basis | Age not exceeding 45 (Forty-five) years as on the date of interview. Age Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/ Exserviceman will be applicable as per DOPT rules. | In the entry pay level- 11 with basic pay of Rs 67,700/- plus other allowances as admissible in ESIC. |

If post graduate doctors are not available for Senior Residents, MBBS doctor without PG degree with two years of experience out of which 1 year of experience in concerned specialty from government or private hospital, (not a private clinic), may be appointed for one year as Senior Resident on contract basis

OR minimum of 5 (Five) years’ experience in the concerned specialty after acquiring PG Diploma. | Age not exceeding 67 (Sixty-seven) years as on the date of interview. (As per memo no.L11/12/03/Misc(PF)/2009/MEC dated 16/12/2011) | Full Time Specialist: – In the entry pay level- 11 with basic pay of Rs 67,700/-plus other allowances as admissible in ESIC. 2. How to apply: –
i. The eligible and desirous doctors fulfilling the educational qualifications/eligibility conditions should submit their applications (As per Annexure- ‘A’).
ii. Documents Required for Verification (at the time of Walk-in Interview) Candidates must bring originals and one set of self-attested photocopies of the following:
1) Identity Proof (PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card)
2) Address Proof (Ration Card, Passport, Driving License, Aadhaar Card)
3) Certificate showing Date of Birth (10th Certificate)
4) Two recent passport-sized photographs
5) Photocopies of Aadhaar/PAN Card and Bank Passbook (for selected candidates at joining)
6) Class 10th & 12th mark sheets/certificates
7) Proof of Educational Qualification: MBBS, MD/MS/DNB etc. as per NMC guidelines
8) Internship Completion Certificate
9) NMC/Madhya Pradesh Medical Council Registration and Renewal
10) Madhya Pradesh Medical Council Registration (within 30 days of joining if not already registered)
11) Madhya Pradesh Medical Council Additional Medical Qualification Registration Certificate.
12) Experience Certificates
13) Reservation Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PH) as per Govt. of India format. OBC must be non-creamy layer from the central list.
14) NOC from current employer (if applicable)
15) Demand Draft (as per applicable fee)
iii. Aspirants possessing relevant qualification along with registration as on the date of interview will only be considered; those whose result is awaited will not be considered.
